In the case of completed works, the grant covers aspects such as attendance at festivals where the film has been selected. For films in pre-production, funding is available, for example, for participation in markets, co-production forums or residency programmes.

This ICIB grant is offered to the audiovisual sector to promote the production of feature films, documentaries, short films and miniseries or web series. Overall, it subsidises key aspects for the development of professional projects within the framework of the different formats registered in this discipline.

With the aim of consolidating the industrial fabric of regional culture, the ICIB offers a line of grants dedicated to the performing arts, music, visual arts, publishing and podcasting. A sixth eligible category has also been added to these disciplines: cultural programming.

The aid is intended for the renewal of the cultural production system in the Balearic Islands, which, through the modernisation and digitalisation of the sector, promotes the application of new technologies in the industrial development of the sector. Thus, the aid covers the purchase of technical equipment, the design of websites and web environments, and the acquisition of software licences.
