The ICIB works to strengthen the music industry in all its forms, both in terms of production and cultural programming. It therefore accompanies and supports a wide range of initiatives in this field, which, taken together, have a twofold objective: to promote creative innovation and to strengthen the sector's productive capacity. It therefore seeks to consolidate an industry that is essential to the creative framework of the Balearic Islands.
The organisation offers two lines of support to the music industry. On the one hand, a grant to support cultural projects, which promotes music production, re-release and remastering, as well as the programming of live music shows. On the other hand, aid for the modernisation, innovation and technological development of cultural industries: in this case, it subsidises investments such as the acquisition of musical instruments or the purchase of technical equipment related to the discipline, such as sound equipment
