Reaffirming the ICIB's determination to actively contribute to cultural innovation in the Balearic Islands, this body is working to promote one of the most representative creative disciplines of modernity: podcasting. The institution is at the forefront of this medium in order to respond to an industry in constant transformation. Therefore, in addition to offering technical advice to agents in this sector, the ICIB manages two lines of grants aimed at promoting this industry.
Firstly, the organisation offers support for cultural projects, subsidising various areas of activity related to the production of podcasts and video podcasts, including the promotion, exploitation and distribution of these projects.
Secondly, aid for the modernisation, innovation and technological development of cultural industries is also made available to the industry. In this case, it covers, among other things, the acquisition of technical equipment, the design of websites and web environments, and the purchase of the software licences required to carry out this activity.
