The aid is intended for the renewal of the cultural production system in the Balearic Islands, which, through the modernisation and digitalisation of the sector, promotes the application of new technologies in the industrial development of the sector. Thus, the aid covers the purchase of technical equipment, the design of websites and web environments, and the acquisition of software licences.
To promote both the renewal of cultural facilities and the digitisation processes in the sector, the ICIB offers this grant, with a total budget of €420,000. In this case, the aim is to promote not only the modernisation of the cultural production system, but also the application of new technologies in the development of the creative industries in the Balearic Islands.
This aid can be used, for example, to purchase technical equipment, design websites and web environments, or acquire software licences. Investment in information and communication technologies and expenses related to training directly related to the purpose of the call for proposals are also eligible. In addition, the acquisition of printers, 3D printers and photocopiers, or air conditioning equipment for cultural exhibition spaces is also covered.
Individuals registered as self-employed and legal entities in the performing arts, music, audiovisual, visual arts and publishing sectors are eligible for the grant covered by this call. All requirements can be found in section 4.2 of the call.

Where can I find the ICIB logos?
There are three different options to download the ICIB logos. First, they can be found in the “Corporate Identity” section, located under “About Us” on this same website. Secondly, they can be downloaded from the corporate identity page of the Government of the Balearic Islands. And finally, they can also be downloaded directly via this link.
I’m having trouble viewing a document on the Electronic Office. What can I do?
If you encounter difficulties viewing any of the documents available on the Electronic Office, it is recommended to open the file by dragging it directly into an open tab of your web browser (such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, etc.). This action usually resolves most issues related to compatibility or document display. Furthermore, if the document shows problems with the display of certain characters, it is advisable to install the Noto Sans font on your device.
I am having trouble uploading documentation to the Electronic Office. How can I do it?
First of all, please note that documents must be attached in the third step of the online procedure. Therefore, the previous fields must be properly completed beforehand. In the "Attach" section, you should also ensure that the documents are submitted in the specified formats and always within the maximum accepted file size.
What should I do if the online procedure does not allow me to attach more documents?
To avoid duplications in the submission of applications, it is recommended to send the documentation through a generic application addressed to the ICIB (DIR3A04035972), indicating the file number to which the documents should be added.
